THE EFFECT OF LEADERSHIP STYLE AND WORK DISCIPLINE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Leadership Style and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT Lancar Wiguna Sejahtera Tangerang Selatan, both partially and simultaneously. The method used is the Quantitative Associative method. The population in this study is the employees of PT Lancar Wiguna Sejahtera Tangerang Selatan. The number of samples used is 63 respondents. Data analysis methods used simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, partial t-test, and F-test. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of Leadership Style on employee performance at PT Lancar Wiguna Sejahtera Tangerang Selatan, as evidenced by the simple linear regression equation Y=18.784+0.524X1. There is a positive and significant influence of Work Discipline on employee performance at PT Lancar Wiguna Sejahtera Tangerang Selatan, as evidenced by the simple linear regression equation Y=17.399+0.568X2. Simultaneously, there is a positive and significant influence of Leadership Style and Work Discipline on employee performance at PT Lancar Wiguna Sejahtera Tangerang Selatan, as evidenced by the multiple linear regression equation Y=11.954+0.358X1+0.341X2. In conclusion, this study shows that effective leadership style and high work discipline significantly contribute to improving employee performance, making them key factors in human resource management within an organization. It is recommended that leaders in organizations adopt a more inclusive and communicative leadership style to motivate employees. Additionally, enhancing work discipline training programs can help create a more productive and efficient work environment.
