Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the influence of recognizing business opportunities on entrepreneurial intentions, the influence of self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intentions, the influence of need for achievement on entrepreneurial intentions, the moderation of need for achievement on the influence of recognizing business opportunities on entrepreneurial intentions, the moderation of need for achievement on the influence of self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intentions of class XII SMK students in Cigugur District and Kuningan District, Kuningan Regency. This research uses a correlational quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study was all students in class XII of SMK in Cigugur District and Kuningan District, Kuningan Regency with a total of 2099 people. This research sample used the Slovin formula and proportionate stratified random sampling with a total of 336 people. Data collection techniques include distributing questionnaires and analyzing them through moderated regression. Based on the research results, it is known that the influence of recognizing business opportunities has a significantly positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions, the influence of self-efficacy has a significantly positive influence on entrepreneurial intentions, the influence of need for achievement has a significantly positive influence on entrepreneurial intentions, the need for achievement significantly strengthens the influence of recognizing business opportunities on entrepreneurial intentions, and the need for achievement significantly strengthens the influence of self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intentions of class XII SMK students in Cigugur District and Kuningan District, Kuningan Regency. Therefore, schools are advised to integrate programs that develop the need for achievement into the entrepreneurship curriculum in order to optimize the influence of introducing business opportunities and students' self-efficacy in increasing their entrepreneurial intentions.
