Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of the role of leadership and commitment in improving the quality of human resource performance in the Islamic banking sector. Job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior are two important indicators that reflect the effectiveness of the organization in creating a productive and harmonious work environment. This study aims to test and analyze the effect of transformational leadership and organizational commitment on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior of employees in one of the national Islamic banks. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to the entire employee population. The data analysis technique was carried out using a structural equation modeling approach using statistical analysis software. The results of the study indicate that both transformational leadership and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. These findings indicate that an inspirational leadership style and high employee commitment to the organization can improve work quality and positive behavior in the organization. The researcher recommends that company management continue to strengthen the transformative leadership style and build an organizational culture that encourages employee loyalty and involvement in a sustainable manner.
